중앙대학교 영상콘텐츠융합연구소에서는 다양한 분야의 해외 유수 학자들을 초청하여 글로벌 콜로키움을 개최하고 있습니다. 

이번 글로벌 콜로키움에서는 University of  Virginia의 안용열(Yong-Yeol Ahn) 교수님을 모시고 강연 및 토론을 진행합니다.

• 발표자: Yong-Yeol Ahn (University of Virginia)

• 발표자 소개: Yong-Yeol Ahn is a world-renowned network and data scientist and the Quantitative Foundation Distinguished Professor at the University of Virginia's School of Data Science. His research investigates how complex system architectures shape human behavior, cognition, and scientific progress by integrating network analysis, machine learning, and NLP. A co-author of Working with Network Data and a Microsoft Research Faculty Fellow, he previously held positions at Indiana University and MIT after earning his Ph.D. from KAIST.

• 발표자: Sun-ha Hong (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill)

• 발표자 소개: Sun-ha Hong is Associate Professor at UNC–Chapel Hill (Communication / Data Science and Society). Drawing on critical theory and STS, he analyzes the politics of power in algorithmic prediction, smart machines, and Silicon Valley technoculture. He is the author of the award-winning Technologies of Speculation(2020) and the forthcoming Predictions Without Futures. His work has appeared in Big Data & Society and History & Theory. Before UNC, he was a faculty member at Simon Fraser University and a postdoctoral scholar at MIT.
